Consultant /Senior Consultant (f/m) Tax support with German

The scope of services includes various tasks in the area of offer and contract management in the context of cooperation with Chinese group holding companies and joint ventures.

• Tax evaluation of offers in accordance with the DTA (Double Taxation Agreement) Germany / China by means of decision templates provided by the client;
• Preparation of formal offers, considering legal and tax requirements, using decision templates provided by the client;
• Coordination and finalization of offers with internal customers, including preparation of revisions if necessary;
• Preparation of a draft quotation;
• Sending the signed offers to the customer with the correct mailing list;
• Participation in the preparation and follow-up of coordination meetings (in German or English);
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact functionalities;
• Creation of an overview of each offer with the departments involved and the budget breakdown based on a fixed table of the effort per package;
• Formal review of the contracts, including:
  • Suitable contract type for the offer.
  • Complete contract content available.
  • Current contract template.
  • Consultation with the sender regarding any necessary changes.

• Completed university studies, ideally in economics or tax law;
• At least 5 years of professional experience for the senior role;
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and processes;
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English is a must;
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in dealing with clients as well as a solution-oriented, proactive approach to work;
• Problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail;
• Confident handling of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams;
• High degree of personal responsibility, organizational skills and reliability, support oriented;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on tax laws and software advancements.
